| Caunos |
| The ancient city of Caunos
(3,000 yrs BC) is a 15 minute walk away from Dalyan and has
only recently begun to be excavated. A plethora of excellent
river-side restaurants often provide views of the famous Lycian
rock tombs, a fabulous setting for an evening meal. They are
an inspiration to all who see them. |
| Market
Days! |
| Dalyan market is on a
Saturday. If you arrive at the villa on Friday then it’s
an ideal way to stock up the larder with fresh foods. Turkey
is not in the EU just yet, therefore lots of cheap goods and
a low cost of living. Korsegiz market is on a Monday. |
